The Vice-President of the Mess Committee (VPMC) is the vice-chairperson of the committee and assists the PMC in the overall operation of the Debney Junior Ranks Mess. The VPMC is a critical role that is enshrined in the Debney JR Constitution. As the second in command, the VPMC is responsible for filling in while the PMC is absent.
