Canadian Army Chief Standards Officer Representative (CACSOR)

Primary role:

The CACSOR is a strategic level resource that reports directly to the Canadian Army Chief Standards Officer on all issues pertaining to the proper implementation of Army polices and procedures with respect to individual training. As the Army’s strategic level “eyes and ears” the CACSOR is expected to continually monitor and provide the CACSO with unbiased view of the situation and concerns at the operational and tactical levels. This function is in addition to their primary role of providing an open door counselor/mentoring service for all candidates undergoing individual training, and instructors as required. The intent of this service is to provide and alternative channel of communications for students to voice their concerns and/or problems, which may be encountered during orientation phase of their training, when they are most vulnerable to cultural change.
